Post Race Parties

Runners, along with family and friends are invited to a Pirate Jamboree Post Race Party and Awards ceremony on race day! Celebrate pirate-style with a grog of ale, great live music and a few thousand scallywags to share your great accomplishment with!

Outer Banks Marathon

The Pirate Jamboree for the Outer Banks Marathon will be held in downtown Manteo, on Sunday, November 14th, 2010. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a festival atmosphere including live music, good eats, local vendors and more!

Where to Park

Limited street side parking available in downtown Manteo. For spectators, ample parking and convenient shuttles to/from downtown Manteo are available at three locations:

 

• Manteo High School: 616 Wingina Avenue, Manteo, NC 27954
• Manteo Middle School: 1000 US Hwy. 64/264, Manteo, NC 27954
• Manteo Elementary School: 701 US Hwy. 64/264, Manteo, NC 27954

Shuttles will depart from Manteo Schools every 15 minutes beginning at 7:15am and run all day.

Flying Pirate Half Marathon

The 2nd Annual Flying Pirate Half Marathon Pirate Jamboree will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011, from 9AM - 1PM! The party will take place just a short walk from the Finish, behind Wing's at Pirate's Quay, located at 3022 S. Croatan Hwy., milepost 10 3/4 in Nags Head. Look for the big propeller! The Awards Ceremony will also take place at the post race party, and will begin at 11AM.
