Be part of the OBX® Marathon without running a step! Thousands of volunteers are needed from Kitty Hawk to Roanoke Island along the 26.2-mile course to staff and set up water stations, work the Expo and offer support to runners at the Start and Finish. Don't miss out! Volunteer teams and themes welcome!

Volunteer Opportunities
Below are some examples of volunteer positions that are available.
The Expo
Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th
Located at the Dare County Youth Center in Kill Devil Hills
- Set up
- Issuing registered runners their race number and time chip
- T-Shirt Distribution
- Race Bag Distribution
- Clean up
Fun Run
Saturday, November 8th, 9am at First Flight High School Track in Kill Devil Hills
- Set up
- Course marshals
- Packet pick up
- Clean up
Start Lines
Sunday, November 9th, 7:00 AM for the Half Marathon, 7:20 AM for the Marathon
