Note: per USATF rules, all awards, places and times are based on gun time. Awards given at the Awards ceremony on race day will not be revised, should there be a change in race results following the ceremony.
Course Records
OBX® Marathon will submit race results to USATF to review, determine and ratify any new course records set. Please allow adequate time for the application process, as this can take several months.
Race Timing
The Marathon and Half Marathon will be timed using the Winning Time Chip system, provided by Lin-Mark Computer Sports. Participant timing chips will be included in the race packet. Chips are rented and must be returned at the Finish. If you do not finish the race or are not able to run, time chips must be returned to Lin-Mark (the envelope with your race number and timing chip serves as timing chip return envelope). If you did not keep this envelope, please enclose chip in bubble wrap, then mail with sufficient postage to:
